About The Exhibit – Raising money to help young musicians.
Acoustic dreams is a joint collaboration between Gasparilla Music
Foundation and Mergeculture Gallery, who both share a similar vision of bringing the best of
local, national, and international talent to provide inspiring creative energy to the Tampa Bay
Area. This exhibit features over 20 acoustic guitars that were beyond the state of repair,
resurrected into a new life of visual art by over 20 artists. The exhibit features work by Brian
Butler, Hoxxoh, Atomik, and other Miami based artists such as Nico and Remote. The exhibit
also features local favorites, such as Noah Deledda, known for his geometric can sculptures, as
well as I.B.O.M.S. and Mize Gallery owner and artist Chad Mize. The guitars are now live on Ebay. 50% of the selling price will go towards Recycled Tunes
which provides new and used instruments to Title 1 music classrooms and students
(RecycledTunesFlorida.com).
